Jeranto rosso is a DOP certificated red wine because is obtained from native grapes grown
in the Sorrento Peninsula. After the manual harvest the bunches are de-stemmed and left to macerate with the
skins for 15 days at a controlled temperature. Fermentation and aging happens in stainless steel in order to
capture the true essence of the grapes used. The result is a cherry red wine, with a spicy flavour and fresh on
the palate; the well balanced tannins make it easy to drink.
Food suggestion: fresh or medium-aged cheeses, lean meats, traditional cured meats and the aubergine parmigiana.
